With Google recently dominating the news, it comes as a breath of fresh air that Apple is making headlines again. According to PC Magazine, Foxconn, Apple’s Asian manufacturing partner, is set to assemble the new high-definition Apple television set. It seems Samsung and Sony are about to have some serious competition. Though development and manufacturing hasn’t quite begun yet, details about it are starting to trickle out.

Perhaps that’s a question that the minds at Google may be pondering. It has recently been reported that the company wants a mistrial in their ongoing legal feud with Oracle. It turns out that Oracle took the search giant to court in regards to them believing that Google violated copyrights related to its Java API package back in 2010. According to CNET, Google’s request was supplemented by a formal proposal to the court asking it to “declare a mistrial” in order to bring in a new court proceeding.

Okay, so being fairly new to the world of technology and web hosting, I was equally interested and perplexed when Google unveiled their highly anticipated Google Drive last week. It seemed that practically everyone was going crazy over this new thingamajig. Not that that’s surprising. After all, whenever Google unveils something new, such as Account Activity, businesspersons and nerds alike tend to lose their minds. It’s just something that I’ve noticed.
